After a day of colonial luxury, you fly north to the remote deserts of northern Kenya, to the Jade Sea or Lake Turkana, the world's largest desert lake and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Staying at an institute, you'll explore by 4x4 the unique landscapes of this region where exposed rock beds have revealed the world's largest collection of human ancestors from over millions of years.
